Ms Coco Queen : GOOD TASTE IN BAD BOYS !?

Those smirky smiles, dashing looks, lofty bank accounts, pompous attitude, audacious acts, lady killers and most importantly they may or may not call you back, but you still wait for their call - wonder why goody two shoe girls drool over bad boys?  Remember Charlie Sheen, Chris Brown, Russell Brand and the ultimate good girl, Whitney Huston‘s ex husband Bobby Brown or Chuck Bass (Gossip Girl) and Charlie Harper (Two and a Half Men) from reel life. So why do  I always hear that good girls like bad guys or that bad guys like good girls? Is it the same old reason of opposites attract or a game of conquest? 

What is it?

Is it a jigsaw puzzle? where two oddly natured individuals interlock perfectly with each other to produce a perfect bond.
He has the money and she has the zest.
He has the wheels and she wants the thrill.
He has the night and she wants the life.
He knows the crowd and she wants to be popular.
He knows places and she wants to travel.
His life is unpredictable and she wants the same.
In a way, the bad boy amplifies the good girls life and that’s what brings out the best in both singletons.

Too good to be true but bad boys are brutally honest!

Girl- "Do I look fat in this?"
Boy- "Yes!"

Girl- "How many girls have you dated?"
Boy- "I have lost count!"

Girl- "Do you see us getting married?"
Boy- "No!" 

Bad boys may be smooth talkers but not necessarily sweet talkers! Such guys don't say things to make you feel nice instead they keep things clear and straight hence "no strings attached" which also unfolds their confident nature. These traits makes them even more attractive to good girls as they look for true and fearless people.

Or is it because good girls go head over heels by the rebellious, mysteries, edgy bad boy but at the same time find solace in trying to bring a change in the bad boys life for 'good'? On the other hand, bad boys like girls who are profoundly nice, all sugar talk, talented and hard to get. Hence, an exhibit showcasing that they can rule and conquer anything they lay eyes on. Basically, both the good and the bad are strong minded individuals who have opposite ways to satisfy their inner need.

So the reason may be unknown or probably it’s just the perfect Yin-Yang balance OR do you have the answer? Have you fallen for a bad boy/ girl? What was your reason? Let me know!

Hey Chicas!

With a philosophical state of my mind today....its time for Coco's all time Belief! which indeed will describe our Styllogy 110, for today !  - Well... Coco's all time Belief # 5 - 'Make up magic portion personifies you either a Cinderella or the Step sista !' Like ones deeds carves a persons soul into beautiful or beast similarly ones make up too enhances a beautiful person into a pretty Cinderella or her sinister step sister -And the above before & after pictures says it all ! - Hence choose your Make Up very wisely ! 

There is no rocket science but just two principals to keep in mind !
- Use products that are actually nice and acclaimed
- Know how to properly apply the product and invest on good tools

The correct products and tools will not only make it an easier application but also not lead to a cake-y or super flash camera white face.

For daily use a quick regime of a tinted moisturizer for your face, kohl and mascara on your eyes and a subtle  lip balm for ya lips is just good to go. Evenings or special occasion calls use of a proper base that includes your foundation, concealer, compact and so forth.

You are pretty and make up is just the magic portion that enhances your personality and confidence. For those who are nascent to make up try it and know the difference in you!

First things first ! A rich moisturizer should be applied first as it helps in perfect blending of the foundation and the SPF will also help battle against the sun !

After the moisturizer comes the concealer. Blemish, scar, red spots, dark circles- any problem take a small amount and either apply with your finger or a brush and voila flawless skin !

People often commit the mistake of taking too much quantity of foundation which is why the cake-y and super white face comes in those pictures which could have been your next Facebook DP ! :P

Hey my Chicas !

After Long working hours, relationship hiccups, weekend hangovers or uninvited relatives. Who gets time for a religious work out to shed those junk cravings and the air for that matter!? But like time waits for no one the weight scale is also ticking to higher scales! So what can you do to keep it stylish with your problem areas checked as well? Well you don’t need a thinking cap for this one, just hear accessorize when someone says exercise! 

Read on, these easy ways will do the trick for you.

• Let Your Hair Down 

      Ever wondered while sitting on a salon chair staring at the hair stylist through the mirror – can he make me look thinner?  Your prayers just got answered because yes he can! Choosing the right hair cut is essential, something that elongates your face ( go for longer lengths, soft layering, side swept bangs) making  your face look thinner . Highlighting is another option, it brighten ups your face making it look younger and thinner, we are obviously not talking about going pink like Nicky Minaj but something subtle and natural will flatter any face.

• Bags Day Out 

Ever bought a bag because it’s going to make you look thinner!?  You will after reading this! If you have rear issues then make sure the bag is at least the width of your backside; using a smaller bag will draw attention to the size of your rear end. So the one that’s too small will make you look big!

•  High On Heels! 

Your heels need not be terribly high but even a few inches tall will bring a dramatic change in your appearance. Shoes with an open toe will give your thighs and calves a slimmer appearance than a closed-toe shoe will. Also shoes with pointy toes will help make your legs seem longer. Always remember matching your shoes to your hose or tights, when wearing a skirt or a dress will help your legs look thinner.

• Divided You Stand

 At times its essential  with dresses and maxis to give a break for a more structured hence slimmer look and corset belts just do trick. Corset belts will actually function like a waist clincher. Try placing the corset belt just under your bust, to visually thin down your ribcage or create a more defined waist by cinching it at your waist.  

• Your Magic Wand    

      Big eyes and tanned cheeks! No no me ain’t talking about lady Gaga but make up is one of the elements that can do wonders. Use eye shadow, eyeliner and mascara in order to pop out those eyes. The bigger your eyes, the slimmer your face features will look.  Natural or artificial, a natural tan with the help of a bronzer will elongate your face and therefore make it look slimmer. Same bronzer trick can be used on your legs for those long Blake lively legs! 

•      After All You Heard Accessorize!

       From  chunky neck pieces and beautiful chandelier earrings to boyfriend watches and big cuffs all these extravagant accessories will help you look slimmer by taking the attention of your problem area hence never wear anything bright or chucky on something you are trying to hide. How are my ladies doing? Fashionably Great!?

As far as the Delhi weather forecast suggests, its gonna pour today ! I really hope it does so that we can welcome our monsoon Styllogy trend lessons !  As of now and as promised we are back with Styllogy: Guess Who's Back"s Volume 2, where we talk about fashion comebacks. And yes!!! Flare/bell bottom jeans has again make a comeback BUT with a high waist twist. Flared pants continue to be in style for women this summer, staying current after their return to the runway in the spring season. The trousers are high-waisted in 2012.

70’s inspired jeans, simply known as Flare Jeans are tight to the knee and then flare out to the hem. Vanessa Hudgens to Jessica Alba and Nicole Richie, each and every popular celebrity is wearing a pair of flared jeans in many styles.  Be a crisp white collar shirt 'tucked in' to office or a feminine top to a romantic date, flared jeans are the best as they are both flattering as well as comfortable. These jeans offer classic retro style with an updated and wearable twist. 

Tips to get the look right!

1. Body type: For women with curvy figures, avoid pockets as they accentuate the hips. Pockets add bulk at the hips and draw attention to the area. With optimal fit, flared pants create a balanced look that flatters the female body. Fabrics can be dressy silks or relaxed denim

2. Correct shoes: This style looks fantastic with stilettos, wedges and even boots. Flare jeans perfectly and easily can be tucked into boots just like other jeans.
